There is only one government medical college in Mizoram,i.e. Zoram Medical College with 100 seats for the MBBS course, and no private college. In Mizoram, the counseling procedure is conducted by the Department of Higher & Technical Education, Government of Mizoram. 

Eligibility criteria

• The candidate must fulfill the local or non-local status in Mizoram (residential requirement) as per the rules laid down by the Mizoram Government.
• The candidate must have passed their 10+2 examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects.
• The candidates must have passed NEET UG-2024.
• The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as of December 31, 2024.
