JSS Medical College (JSSMC), Mysore, Karnataka, is a part of JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research and is accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC. This medical training institute was established in 1984 on a 43-acre campus. It was affiliated with the University of Mysore from 1984 to 1995 and later allied with the Rajiv Gandhi Medical College, Bangalore, until 2008.

JSS Medical College became a part of JSS College of Science and Research effective from 28th May 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act. Accredited by the Medical Council of India, this college is committed to imparting quality education to improve the quality of healthcare and care for all sections of society. The facility is loaded with hospitals with an impressive capacity of 1,030 beds.

Admission to JSS Medical College Mysore (JSSMC):

Admission to various Programmes at Medical Colleges is based on the candidate’s performance in NEET UG. To ensure a seat in MBBS courses, students must fulfill all the eligibility criteria for the course they wish to opt for. If you want admission to the college, the students must fulfill unique eligibility criteria to secure admission to the Bachelor of Medication, Bachelor of Surgical Operation (MBBS) program to be ambitious and skilled professional experts.

Documentation Required for Admission in JSS Medical College (JSSMC)

  • Certified copy of the grade equivalence to marks by Boards/schools.
  • Transfer certificate/school leaving certificate/testimonials/No objection certificate.
