Founded in 1998 by The Energy and Resources Institute, it received ‘Deemed to be University’ status from the Indian University Grants Commission in 1999. The School commenced operations on its campus in Vasant-Kunj, New Delhi 2008, and provides Master’s and PhD programs. Teri University provides 20 programs at the postgraduate and doctoral levels.
