- Is SRMJEEE mandatory for admission to SRMIST?
Yes. SRMJEEE is mandatory for admission to SRMIST. However, to encourage and support students of exemplary talent, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) offers direct admission and scholarships to first-rank students of all the central and state boards in India, top 10,000 rankers in IIT JEE, top rankers in each district of Tamil Nadu and exemplary sports persons at National and International level. - What is the validity period of the SRMJEEE result?
The SRMJEEE result will be valid till the current academic year only. No candidate will be granted admission in the next year based on SRMJEEE current year scores. A separate entrance exam will be held next year for admission in the next session. SRMJEEE-passed candidates will be allotted seats via SRMJEEE counseling. SRMJEEE counseling is the process of allocating seats and branches to candidates as per their ranks. The seats are allotted to the applicants based on their performance in the exam.
