Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai fully named Sri Ramachandra Medical College Research Institute, Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Deemed to be University), formerly known as SRMC & RI (DU). As a leader in medical sciences in India. Established in 1985 under the Sri Ramachandra Education and Health Trust, formerly known as Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, this institution has effectively grown into a renowned center of excellence under the guidance of the late Shri. NPV Ramasamy Udayar, Founder and Managing Trustee. The university’s journey of excellence culminated in its declaration as a ‘Notable University’ by the Government of India in 1994.
