It was founded by the late Dr. Vasantrao Saraf and Dr. Kusumawati V. Saraf with the vision of promoting and integrating Ayurvedic wisdom with contemporary healthcare practices. The college is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, and is recognized by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), New Delhi. Offering the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) program with an intake capacity of 100 students per year, the institution also provides postgraduate education in select Ayurvedic disciplines.
