Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS), established in 1952 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, is a government-aided autonomous institute. Approved by UGC and AICTE, the institute attained autonomous status in 1989 and is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal. SGSITS offers a wide range of programs, including 10 undergraduate, 25 postgraduate, and numerous Ph.D. courses across disciplines such as Engineering, Technology, Applied Sciences, Computer Applications, Management, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Pharmacy. Spread across a 35-acre campus, the institute admits students based on their performance in national-level entrance exams like JEE Main, GATE, and GPAT. The institute is equipped with a dedicated Training and Placement Cell that provides placement support to students. According to the latest placement report, the highest package offered was INR 44.5 LPA. SGSITS also offers various scholarships to support meritorious students. Visiting this college would be a dream come true for me! The college is NBA-accredited and places a strong focus on academics. The students here are incredibly talented, making it an inspiring environment to be a part of. As someone who values sports, I was impressed by the excellent sports facilities available for aspiring athletes. The library is another highlight, with an extensive collection of books that cater to various academic needs. The faculty is highly experienced, and many of them have earned their master’s degrees from top institutions like the IITs. The teachers are supportive and approachable, and the exams are conducted at a challenging yet rewarding level. What adds to the charm is the college’s prime location in the heart of Indore, making it easily accessible and convenient.
