Admission to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences  

To get admission to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, students must appear and qualify for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) in order to be admitted to the course. RIMS boasts a 500-bed teaching hospital, well-equipped laboratories, a comprehensive library with internet and MEDLARS facilities, nine lecture halls, an indoor stadium with gallery, an auditorium known as Jubilee Hall with 1000 capacity balcony seating, three canteens, 12 hostels (including six for MBBS students), 249 staff quarters, and a guest house. Additionally, there are branches of UBI and Bank of Baroda (BOB) on campus with ATM facilities.

Prospective students must appear for and qualify in the NEET-UG examination. Following this, they should participate in the counseling process conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) or the respective state counseling authorities to secure admission.
