NEET UG 2025 – Post Examination Activities and Declaration of Result

The NEET (UG) 2025 test, the NTA will upload scanned copies of OMR answer sheets and recorded responses on its official portal. The candidates can go through their responses and object to OMR grading for a non-refundable charge of ₹200 per question. Likewise, the provisional answer key will be made available so that candidates can raise objections within the stipulated timeframe. If any challenge is valid, the answer key will be updated accordingly. But no individual notifications will be made about the acceptance of challenges. The final answer key will be utilized to prepare results, which will be available online. Re-evaluation requests will not be accepted since the OMR sheets are machine-graded with high accuracy.

Display of OMR Sheets & Responses

  • Scanned images of the OMR Answer Sheets and heard responses of candidates will be exhibited by NTA on neet.nta.nic.in following the examination.
  • The NTA website shall announce the actual date of publication.
  • Non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question can be submitted by the candidate to challenge OMR grading.
  • Correctly verified challenges will be posted in the data but no individual notifications are sent.
  • Candidates are advised to check the NTA website frequently to see and download their OMR Answer Sheets.

Display of Answer Key for Challenge

  • The Provisional Answer Key will be released on neet.nta.nic.in and the candidates will be able to raise objections.
  • Candidates can challenge the answer key online by paying ₹200 for each question within the stipulated time.
  • Subject matter experts’ panel will authenticate challenges, and if valid, the Answer Key will be modified.
  • Post-verification final Answer Key will be utilized for result preparation.
  • No personal notification will be issued on acceptance or rejection of challenges.

Declaration of Result

  • Answer Sheets will be assessed by NTA and declared results on neet.nta.nic.in.
  • Candidates will be able to download Score Cards from the website.
  • Merit List/All India Rank (AIR) will be made based on qualifying parameters and NMC, DGHS, MCC, AYUSH, etc., guidelines.
  • Candidates should frequently visit relevant websites for counselling and admission updates.

Re-checking / Re-evaluation Policy

  • OMR Sheets are machine-graded with very high accuracy and multiple checks.
  • There is no provision for re-checking or re-evaluation.
  • Already, candidates are provided an opportunity to raise objections against OMR grading and the Answer Key prior to finalization.
  • No further communication regarding this will be accepted.

Utilization of NEET (UG) – 2025 Result by Other Organizations

  • Different Central and State Government organizations can utilize NEET (UG) – 2025 results as per their respective eligibility criteria.
  • Results will be utilized for B.Sc. (H) Nursing admissions and BVSc & AH courses under the 15% quota of VCI.
  • Military Nursing Service (MNS) candidates need to qualify for NEET for admission to the B.Sc. Nursing Course at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals.
