King George Medical University
King George Medical University, Lucknow is one of the best Government Medical Colleges in Uttar Pradesh, It is located in Lucknow and is also known as Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University. In 1911, King George’s Medical University was founded in Lucknow. KGMU Lucknow provides a range of level programs to fulfill India’s increasing need for higher education. KGMU Lucknow is one of the most prestigious colleges that provides UG and PG courses. On September 16, 2002, the Uttar Pradesh government implemented an act elevating it to the status of a medical university. About 250 number of students admitted to the MBBS program each year.
