MBBS refers to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, which is said to be a primary degree provided by medical schools and allows permission to start a medical practice. After completing the medical degree, candidates have become eligible for medical practice.  Duration of the course 

The duration of the MBBS course is five and a half years, including an internship.

Eligibility Criteria For MBBS 

To appear for the MBBS examination:

  • The candidates should have to score at least 50% in their 10+2 papers. 
  • For the reserved category candidates, they should have at least 40% marks in their qualifying exam to pursue MBBS.
  • The students who come from the science stream with biology, physics, and chemistry as subject combinations are permitted to study MBBS.
  • NEET qualifying is mandatory for all the candidates.
