Eligibility Criteria for Ayurveda College

Below are the BAMS course eligibility criteria for admission:

  • For candidates seeking admission into BAMS programs in Indian institutions, he/she must have completed Class 12 from the Science stream with the required PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) subjects.
  • Typically, the range of qualifying marks in Class 12 for BAMS course eligibility is from 50% to 60%. However, this percentage mark is subject to the policies of the individual colleges or universities.
  • Additionally, some universities may set an age limit as part of the BAMS eligibility criteria.
  • Candidates who qualify the eligibility requirement to follow the Ayurvedic Doctor program have to write the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2025) and obtain a qualifying score. Admission to the BAMS course shall be done by centralized counseling based on the NEET merit list.
