Admission

UG admission process

• Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.
  • A minimum qualifying percentage in 10+2 is required (varies by category).
  • The candidate must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year.
• Entrance Examination:
  • Admission is based on the NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate) score.
• NEET UG Registration:
  • Register for NEET UG through the official NTA website.
  • Appear for the NEET UG exam and obtain a valid score.
• Counseling Registration:
  • Register for UP NEET UG counseling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh.
  • Complete the registration process and pay the required counseling fee.
• Choice Filling and Locking:
  • Fill in college preferences, including GMC Kannauj.
  • Lock your choices before the given deadline.
• Seat Allotment:
  • Seats are allocated based on NEET UG rank, category, and choices filled during counseling.
  • GMC Kannauj offers a fixed number of MBBS seats annually.
• Document Verification:
  • After seat allotment, report to the designated verification center or college for document verification.

• Fee Payment:

PG admission process

• Qualify NEET-PG:
  • Appear for and secure the required cutoff in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG).

  • Internship:
    • Completion of one-year compulsory rotatory internship or or before the specified date by NMC.

  • 50% of seats under All India Quota (AIQ), managed by MCC.
  • 50% of seats under Uttar Pradesh State Quota, managed by DGME/DMET, Uttar Pradesh.
• Counseling Process:
  • AIQ Counseling:
    • Register on the MCC website.
    • Participate in NEET-PG counseling rounds for MD/MS seat allotment.
  • State Quota Counseling:
    • Register on the DGME/DMET UP portal.
    • Participate in counseling for Uttar Pradesh state quota seats.
  • Document Verification:
    • NEET-PG Admit Card and Scorecard.
    • MBBS Degree Certificate and Mark Sheets.
    • Internship Completion Certificate.
