XAT 2025: Important Dates, Admit Card, Exam Pattern, Syllabus
The XAT exam will be held on January 5, 2025 (Sunday). The XAT 2025 exam is a Computer Based Test (CBT) and will be held in a single session. Students are required to complete the exam within 180 minutes (3 hours).
XAT exam registrations started on July 15, 2024. Therefore, the written text has been removed from the question paper. Candidates should know all this information and also know other aspects of XAT before applying for XAT.

Exam Details
Xavier Aptitude Test, popularly known as XAT, is an annual entrance exam for admission to MBA or PGDM courses at XAMI Institute and other top business schools in India. XAT test scores are recognized by over 250 business schools or management schools nationwide. XLRI Jamshedpur has conducted XAT for XAMI, the Xavier Association of Management Institutes, for over 75 years.

Eligibility Criteria
XAT is conducted for the candidates to get admission to management courses at Xavier Institute or other top management institutes across the country. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam must check the following XAT eligibility criteria for 2025:

FAQs
How many candidates take the XAT exam yearly?
An average of 75,000-80,000 candidates take the exam each year. While approximately 80,000 candidates will take the exam in 2025, approximately 90,000 candidates will take the exam in 2023. However, last year (2021-2019) more than 80,000 candidates did not take the exam.
Is there any negative marking for the XAT exam?
Yes, there are negative marks in the XAT exam except for questions in the GK section.
