The first round of counseling: The first round of counseling allotment takes place in online mode and the first round is a free exit round, in which if the candidate gets a seat and does not want to join on the allotted seat then they can leave it, and the candidate will also be eligible for a further round of counseling. If the candidate gets a seat allotted and they want to join it then they will have to get the documents verified at the place and time mentioned by the counseling authority. After submitting the fees and the documents the candidate has to report at the allotted college. After joining they can have an option to get their seat upgraded and they can upgrade it in the second round of counseling. Second Round Counseling: The second round of counseling is conducted to fill the seats vacant after the first round of counseling. Round two is conducted online mode. After the completion of the first round and before the start of the second round, the candidates get an option to upgrade the seat they had been allotted in the first round of counseling. The candidates will have to choose from either of the options YES or NO.  If the candidate chooses YES then they can fill the choices again for the second round of counseling and upgrade the allotted seat of the first round. On choosing option NO the seat allotted in the first round will remain the same and have to be kept.  If the candidate has joined the seat in the second round of counseling then they are not eligible to participate in the second round of counseling of Haryana state. After the seat allotment in the second round, if the candidate has been allotted a fresh seat then the documents have to be verified at the place and time specified by the admission authority and the fees will be deposited in online mode. If the candidate’s seat has been upgraded then they have to report to the newly allotted institution. Mop Up round Counseling:  The Mop Up round of counseling will be conducted to fill the vacant seats after the Second round of counseling. It shall be held online.  In the Mop-up round, the seats of the first and second rounds cannot be upgraded and only those candidates can participate who have not been allotted seats in the first and second rounds.  Stray Vacancy Round Counseling: This round of counseling is done to fill the vacant seats after the mop-up round of MBBS/BDS courses of government in Haryana state. These seats are filled by counseling authority only.  After the mop-up round of MBBS/BDS of private medical/dental colleges, counseling of stray vacancies will be conducted by the counseling authority to fill the vacant seats after that the vacant seats are transferred to the concerned Medical/Dental College and shall be filled by the concerned college.
