Established in 1961, IIM Ahmedabad, or IIMA is a public Business School located in Vastrapur , Ahmedabad. The institute has been accorded the status of an ‘Institute of National Importance’ by MHRD, Government of India. Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad was the first B-School to receive the EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) accreditation, by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).
