I chose Doon University because of its exceptional faculty and solid reputation in the city, and I’m genuinely sharing my experience here—there’s no reason to sugarcoat it. Life at Doon is fantastic; the weather here is always incredible, adding to the overall experience. I stayed in the hostel for a year, and the atmosphere was welcoming, with students who were kind and always willing to help. Uttarakhand is famously known as India’s school capital, celebrated for its top-notch education system.

Doon’s campus offers a well-rounded environment with plenty of facilities, including a cafeteria, spacious grounds, and well-organized management. The university is active in sports, holding competitions in football, basketball, and volleyball. Festivities like Diwali and Holi celebrations make the campus lively throughout the year. One of the best parts is the accessibility to a wide selection of books, both online and offline. The classrooms are technologically equipped, with smart boards and ample lighting, and while there’s Wi-Fi on campus, its access is limited for students.
