What is VITEEE?
The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) organized annually by the Vellore Institute of Technology, is a gateway for admission to undergraduate engineering programs (BTech) at participating institutes. 1. Are there any reservation criteria for admission to VIT University?
No. VIT does not have any specific reservation criteria for admissions to its campuses. During the VITEEE 2024 counseling process, admissions are done solely based on the candidate\’s rank, eligibility, preferences, and seat availability. Irrespective of the candidate\’s category, allotment of seats will be conducted as per the obtained ranks. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria carefully before admission.
2. Does VIT provide scholarships?
Yes. VIT offers various scholarship opportunities to candidates with a bright academic record. Under the Give School Development Program (GVSDP), the toppers of each state and central board are given a 100% tuition fee waiver for all four years. VITEEE 2024 rank holders of 1 to 50 will be provided with a 75% tuition fee waiver for all four years. Similarly, rank holders of 51 to 100 and 101 to 1000 will be given 50% and 25% tuition fee waivers for four years, respectively.
