Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, popularly known as SNAP Exam, is the MBA Entrance Exam for Admission to 15 Symbiosis Institutes in India. Every year around 1 lakh students from all disciplines including Engineering, Commerce, Humanities, and even Law take the SNAP Test to get into one of the 2,500 MBA seats in Symbiosis colleges. SNAP 2023 will be the 7th computer-based exam in the history of Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU) Pune.

Difference between SNAP exam with other MBA Entrance Exams
- SNAP exam vs. XAT:
SNAP exam primarily focuses on General English, Quantitative, Data Interpretation, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, and Current Affairs. XAT includes sections on Decision-making and General Knowledge in addition to Verbal, Quantitative, and Logical Ability. XAT is generally considered more challenging due to the inclusion of the Decision-making and General Knowledge sections.
- SNAP exam vs. KIITEE Management:
SNAP exam tests candidates in Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency, and Analytical and Logical Reasoning. Eligibility Criteria
The overall eligibility for SNAP exam is that the candidates should be graduates in any discipline from a recognized / Statutory University or Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST). The minimum age of the candidates should be 21 years.
A candidate who has completed a qualifying degree from a Foreign University must hold an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign degrees/ qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any program of Symbiosis International University (Deemed University).
A candidate can appear for up to three tests for SNAP 2023. If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation and there will be no normalization. A rigorous process that has been statistically tested will be administered to ensure that unique types of questions are framed under a specific topic across the question papers. The normal spread will ensure that there is no unfair advantage to candidates who opt for any specific test / multiple tests. This will ensure the normalization of the spread of questions across sections. Furthermore, the question papers will be normalized for the level of difficulty across all three tests. No correspondence regarding this will be entertained.
Benefits of the SNAP Entrance Exam
SNAP score and percentile will be used for MBA admission 2024 by all the SNAP score accepting 15 Symbiosis MBA colleges including SIBM Pune, SCMHRD Pune, and SIOM Nashik among others. Those who apply early, have a better chance to be allotted the preferred test city and test date of choice. All the 15 Symbiosis MBA colleges will release their individual shortlist one by one. SNAP is certainly one of the major entrance tests that students appear for and is worth considering irrespective of the fact whether you have work experience or not. The test is for the colleges under Symbiosis University and is the gateway to 12 colleges under the same.
Registration Fee
The SNAP registration fee is Rs 2250 and the course selection fee is 200. Candidates must ensure they complete the fee payment process for desired courses and institutes before the last date of SNAP registration in 2023
Minimum marks required for further rounds
SNAP cut-off 2023 is the minimum percentile score required for admission to all 16 Symbiosis institutes and other SNAP score-accepting colleges. With the release of SNAP 2023 results on January 10, 2024, all Symbiosis institutes will start releasing their SNAP 2024 Cut-off. Due to alterations in the exam and scoring pattern, the SNAP cutoff for admission in 2024 at all the Symbiosis Institutes is expected to undergo significant changes. This includes the SNAP score achieved by candidates and the number of candidates attaining a commendable score
