Review
The hostel maintained a pristine and tidy environment. The accommodations were pleasant, and the dining facility was satisfactory. During the first year, two students would share a room, but from the second year forward, individual rooms were allocated. Additionally, the college had a library. The library itself provided textbooks for each semester.
The educators were knowledgeable and supported students not just academically, but in a variety of other aspects as well. Examination questions originated from the main campus, namely Bit Mesra Ranchi, and the grading of answer sheets was also conducted there. The minimum passing grade was a C, which corresponds to 40 marks. The infrastructure is respectable, with greenery surrounding the campus. The Birla Institute of Technology is relatively smaller compared to other NITs. A LAN network is available in the hostel; however, the classrooms leave much to be desired, and while the library is lacking, there is a dedicated digital library.
