Bihar UGMAC 2025: Free Exit from Round 1 & Start of Round 2 Counselling

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has issued an important notice regarding Bihar UGMAC 2025 Counselling for MBBS, BDS, and Veterinary courses.

What Does “Free Exit” from Round 1 Mean?

If you were allotted a seat in Round 1 counselling but are not satisfied with the seat/college, you can choose the Free Exit option.

This means:

  • You can surrender your Round 1 seat without penalty.
  • You will still remain eligible to participate in Round 2 counselling.
  • Your previously allotted seat will be released and offered to another candidate in the next round.

This is a relief option for students who want to try their chances for a better college or course in Round 2.

The notice also confirms that Round 2 of UGMAC 2025 counselling has officially begun. Students who:

  • Did not get any seat in Round 1, OR
  • Exited using the Free Exit option, OR
  • Want to upgrade their Round 1 seat,

No. You will remain fully eligible to apply for Round 2 counselling and try for a better college or course.

The following students can take part in Round 2:

  • Students who did not get a seat in Round 1.
  • Students who got a seat in Round 1 but used the Free Exit option.
  • Students who want to upgrade their Round 1 seat.

No fresh registration is usually required if you already registered for UGMAC 2025. But you must complete choice filling again for Round 2.

No. If you choose Free Exit, your Round 1 seat is released and cannot be reclaimed. You must participate in Round 2 to get a new seat.
