Eligibility Criteria

Prem Raghu Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital adheres to the guidelines set by the Ministry of AYUSH and the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) to determine eligibility for its academic programs. The criteria vary for undergraduate, diploma, and postgraduate courses, ensuring that students entering the field of Ayurveda possess the necessary academic foundation, aptitude, and commitment to healthcare. The detailed eligibility criteria are as follows:

Educational QualificationsThe candidate must have completed Class 12 (10+2) or its equivalent from a recognized board.

The candidate must have studied physics, chemistry, and biology as core subjects in Class 12.

Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate in the aforementioned subjects (for general category students). For reserved category candidates, the minimum requirement may be relaxed according to government rules.
AgeThe candidate must be at least 17 years old as of December 31st of the year of admission.

The upper age limit may vary as per government norms for different categories.
Entrance ExamAdmission to the BAMS program is based on the candidate’s performance in the NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate) examination.

Candidates must qualify in the NEET UG exam to be eligible for the counseling process.

Admission Procedure
