After the NEET 2024, West Bengal Main Computerized Counseling will issue the prospectus and schedule for MBBS and BDS admission. Its website is https://wbmcc.nic.in and an online application form has to be filled out there. Through this, admission is given by conducting the first round of counseling, the second round of counseling, the mop-up round, and the stray vacancy round of counseling. All rounds of counseling will be conducted online. Counseling Fees for UR Category Rs. 2000/- and SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC- B/PWD/EWS category Rs. 1500/-. The first round of counseling  The first round of counseling will take place in online mode. After filling in the choice the choices shall have to be locked by the candidates as only the locked choices for that particular round shall be processed for seat allotment as per the merit of the candidates. After allotment, the allotted candidates need to attend the concerned college physically with original documents along with fees for the college for document verification. After verification, the candidate shall be admitted to the college and handed over the system-generated admission letter. During the admission process, the candidates to whom the seats have been allotted must provide the willingness to participate in subsequent rounds at the allotted college. If the willingness is affirmative, then only the candidate remains eligible to participate in the round. The candidate who has not been allotted or not reported for admission in round 1 or not provided a choice in round 1 are also allowed to participate in round 2. Second Round of counseling  The second round of counseling is conducted to fill the vacant seats after the first round of counseling. In this round fresh registrations will be opened again and the seats of the first round can also be upgraded. Seat allotment in this round is conducted in online mode. In the second round, all the registered candidates will have to make a fresh choice. The candidates to whom the seats have been allotted and who have joined the seats must provide willingness to participate in round 2 of counseling then only they will be allowed to be part of the second round of counseling.  The candidates who were allotted in round 1 but did not report to the allotted institute for admission, are allowed free exit, that is they are allowed to participate in the round 2 counseling without penalty, that is, they are not required to enroll/pay fees/register again during round 2 counseling. They can straight away go for fresh choice filling during round 2 counseling. The candidates who have surrendered seats after admission in round 1 are not allowed to participate any further in counseling including round 2. They are out of the counseling process. Candidates who have admitted the allotted seat in round 2 and further rounds will not be allowed to resign/surrender and will also be ineligible to take part in further rounds of any type of counseling. The Candidates, whose allotted seats were canceled in round 1 due to failure in submission of documents, are out of the counseling process and they are not allowed to participate any further in counseling. The willingness to participate in subsequent rounds shall not be available during round 2 admission or any further rounds of the admission process. If a candidate has joined the seat in the second round of MCC, then he/she cannot participate in the second round. If the candidate did not get a seat allot even in this round, then they have to wait for the Mop Up round. Mop up round of counseling Candidates who have not registered in the first round and second round can do fresh registration in this round. The candidates, who remain not allotted till round 2, are allowed to participate in Mop Up straight away by fresh choice filling. Registered candidates of rounds 1 and 2, who failed to provide a choice during the rounds are allowed to participate in the Mop Up round. The Candidates, whose allotted seats were canceled in round 1 due to failure in the submission of documents, are out of the counseling process and they are not allowed to participate any further in counseling. Seat-surrendered candidates cannot participate in the mop-up round. The candidates who have not reported during round 2 are allowed to participate in Mop Up round but with a penalty that they have to pay the counseling fee afresh and register afresh before being eligible for choice filling in the mop-up round. However, they are not allowed to change the credentials provided during the enrollment stage of earlier rounds. The candidates who remain admitted after round 2 counseling, are not allowed any further participation in mop-up counseling or further counseling. Stray Vacancy round of counseling  This round is conducted to fill the vacant seats after the first, second, and Mop up rounds of counseling. No new registration is allowed in this round. Only the candidates who had already registered and either did not get any seat allotted to them or did not report till the mop-up round are allowed for choice upgradation of mop-round choices in the stray vacancy round that is provided, they can put up fresh choices during the mop-up round of counseling. The prospectus and schedule for MBBS and BDS state quota admissions are released by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training(UPDGME), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh after the NEET 2024 results. Through this, the candidates are given admissions by conducting the first round of counseling followed by a second round of counseling and a mop-up round of counseling.  The registration fees for the first and second rounds of counseling are 2000/- for all the categories, which is non-refundable and all the candidates must register for the mop-up round of counseling.  The registration fee for the mop-up round of counseling is 1000/- for all the categories. During the registration procedure, the nodal center is to be selected by the candidate where the admission formalities will be completed. The candidate must select the nodal center near them out of the given options. After completing the registration \, and document verification, the security money demand draft(DD) is to be submitted at the nodal center, which is as follows:  Government Medical/Dental College – 30,000/- Private Medical College – 2,00,000/- Private Dental College – 1,00,000/- (Only offline payment will be accepted). If any candidate wants to participate in all Government Medical/Dental College and Private Medical/Dental College then Security money Rs. 2,00,000/- (Rupees two lakhs) will have to be deposited. Only after depositing the demand draft (DD) of security fees, the candidate can fill the choice for the first round. After filling in the choices the candidate must lock the choices otherwise, they will not be considered for allotment of the seat. Registration will not be completed till online payment has been made. Security fees not submitted by the candidate will not be permitted for Document verification and choice filling.  First-Round Counseling  This counseling is online and there’s no free exit in Uttar Pradesh. In case you get a seat and you want to join it, then you can join and give the option of upgrade and you’ll be able to upgrade it in the 2nd round. After the seat allotment in the first round, one-year tuition fees and original documents will have to be deposited in the allotted colleges in case of allotment on a government seat and by visiting the nodal center in case of allotment on a private seat.  Second Round Counseling The second round of counseling will be conducted to fill the empty seats after the first round of counseling. Round 2 shall be held on-line. In case you have joined the seat within the second round of MCC, at that point you cannot take part in the second round of UP. New enrollment will be opened in the second round. Such candidates whose Security money has been forfeited in the first round, then they can take part in the second round by depositing Security money again. In the second round, the seat of the first round can also be updated. There’s no need to deposit Security money again. After upgrading the seat within the second round, your first-round seat will be designated to any other candidate. You will have to complete the admission formalities on the upgraded seat in the second round. In case the seat isn’t upgraded in the second round, the seat of the first round will remain the same. But in the second round, if the seat of the first round is designated again, at that point they will have to complete the admission customs again, otherwise, the admission will be canceled and that seat will end up empty and will be added to the counseling of the Mop Up round. Those Candidates who are allotted seats in the first round of counseling, have taken admission, and do not want to upgrade themselves are required not to fill the choices in the second round of counseling. Candidates who are already admitted to any college are required NOT to make the same choices as their already admitted college. Mop-Up Round Counseling The mop-up round of counseling is conducted to fill the vacant seats after the second round of counseling. Mop-up round 2 is being held offline. That means that the candidates will have to be present at the time of counseling. Admission to the vacant seats is given based on merit and choice of the candidate. Only candidates who have not been allotted any seat in the first and second rounds of counseling can participate in the mop-up round.  Candidates who had not registered in the first and second rounds can also register and participate in this round of counseling. If not locked by the candidate then the choices will be unlocked.  First Round of Counseling : The first round of counseling is conducted in online mode. There is no security deposit to be deposited in the first round. After filling out the choices, the provisional merit list will be released and the seats will be allotted according to the candidate’s choices. If a seat has been allotted to the candidate in the first round of counseling then the online allotment letter will be issued after that. The candidate has to login and download it.  After login, the candidates will be given the option to freeze or float the seat. If the candidate is satisfied with the allotment and does not want to upgrade the seat then they will have to choose the option of “freeze” After that they will not be considered for the upgrade in the next rounds. If the candidate wants to upgrade their seat then they have to choose the option of “float”  and participate in the second round. But it should be kept in mind that if the seats are allotted for the first choice, then they cannot choose the option of float for upgrade.  If the seats are upgraded in the second round then the candidate will have to be admitted to the newly allotted college and their seat in the first round will be allotted to the other candidate. After giving the option of freeze or float, the CLC / SLC certificate (College leaving / School leaving certificate) will have to be uploaded online. After that, the candidate has to deposit the admission fee which can be deposited either by online mode or DD. After downloading the allotment letter all the admission formalities will have to be completed after going to the allotted college along with the allotment letter and original required documents and submitting the documents in the condition of being allotted a government medical college. In case of being admitted to a private college, the candidate has to report to the OJEE cell.  The first round of counseling is an exit round. After the seat allotment in the first round, it is not necessary to join it; the candidate will be eligible for the second round of counseling and further all rounds of counseling. If the candidate wants to resign from the joined seat of the first round then they can resign at the time given by OJEE to resign, in this case, the balance amount will be refunded after the deduction of 10% from the tuition fee deposited. If any candidate does not get any seat allotted in the first round then they have to wait till the second round of counseling. Second Round of Counseling : The second round of counseling is conducted to fill the vacant seats after the first round of counseling. This round is also conducted in online mode. About Karnataka Examinations Authority (Formerly known as CET Cell) conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) for undergraduate students in Karnataka who wish to study engineering, medicine, dentistry, or agriculture and Post-Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) for graduate students in Karnataka who wish to pursue M.Tech, MCA or MBA courses. It was established in 2000 Eligibility criteria ● The candidates should have passed the NEET 2024 exam. ● Only citizens of India will be eligible for all types of seats except for NRI quota seats. ● The students should have completed their 10+2 in PCB with English as a mandatory subject. Prospectus for State quota admission in MBBS and BDS courses will be issued by the Karnataka Examinations Authority. After this, the schedule for document verification will be issued by KEA. For this, the documents will have to be verified at Bangalore or any other center. After the document verification, the list of verified candidates will be released.  After the verification of documents, the candidates will be given an application number and password, from which they can fill in the choice. The choice filled is called option entry.  There are no Security fees that will be deposited in any round. First Round of Counseling  Seat allotment of the first phase is done online by KEA. If a candidate has been allocated a seat in the round then you have to deposit a one-year fee online (RTGS/NEFT), after that, you can fill out a choice again to upgrade this seat in the second round and if gets upgraded, then you do not need to deposit the fee again, it will be adjusted.  If the seat is allotted in the first round and you are not able to deposit the fee, then you are eligible for the second round, but you will not get the choice you filled in the second round above the seat allotment. You can fill in the choice below. In the first round, the candidates who get a seat alloted will have to give the following options, which is called Choice Entry:-  Choice No. 01 – If you are satisfied with the allotted seat in the first round and do not want to participate in the next round, then you have to choose Choice No. 01 to be filled. In this, you have to deposit one one-year fee online (RTGS / NEFT). After making this choice, you cannot participate in the next rounds. Choice No. 02 – If you want to upgrade the allotted seat in the first round, then you have to choose Choice No. 02 to be filled. In this, you have to deposit one one-year fee online (RTGS / NEFT) and then you can participate in the second round. If your seat gets upgraded, then you do not need to deposit the fee again, it will be adjusted. In case of no seat upgrade, the previous seat will remain the same.  Choice No. 03 – If you are not satisfied with the allotted seat in the first round and want to participate in the next round, then you have to choose Choice No. 03 to be filled. You do not need to deposit fees in this round. After making this choice, you can participate in the second round. All choices filled in the first round will be available for the second round but you will not get the allotted seat of the first round.  Choice No. 04 – If you are not satisfied with the allotted seat in the first round and do not want to participate in the next round, then you have to choose option no. 04 to be filled. After this, you will be out of further counseling. Second Round of counseling  The candidates who had not registered for the first round, re-opened the registration in the second round for those candidates. Registration was not opened again in the second round.  All the candidates have to modify and delete the choice again of the first round, if you do not fill the choice again, then the choice filled in the first round will be valid.
