When and How to Apply for Andhra Pradesh NEET UG 2025 State Quota Admissions?
The online application window opens from 23rd July 2025 (9:00 AM) and closes on 29th July 2025 (9:00 PM). A late application period with an additional fee will be open from 30th to 31st July 2025. All applications must be submitted online through drntr.uhsap.in. There is no offline process—everything, including document upload and fee payment, happens online.
Who’s Eligible
You need to have qualified for NEET-UG 2025 and meet specific eligibility criteria:
- Nationality: Indian citizens, PIOs, OCIs (with certain conditions)
- Education: Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
- Minimum Marks: 50% for the general category, 40% for SC/ST/BC, 45% for PwBD
- Age: At least 17 years old by 31st December 2025

Local and Non-Local Status
A crucial part of the admission process is your local or non-local status. 85% of seats are reserved for local candidates from the Andhra University and Sri Venkateswara University regions. The remaining 15% are unreserved and open to eligible non-local candidates who fulfill residency or parental employment conditions in Andhra Pradesh.

- 85% of seats in Government Medical and Dental Colleges (after AIQ deduction)
- 50% of seats (Category A) in Private Non-Minority and Minority Colleges

Vertical and horizontal reservations apply:
- SC: 15%
- ST: 6%
- BCs: 29% (split among BC-A to BC-E)
