The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced CUET UG 2025 registration through its official website cuet.nta.nic.in that the registration period for CUET UG 2025 will be from 1st March 2025 to 22nd March 2025 (up to 11:50 PM). The Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2025 is an excellent opportunity for candidates trying to get admission into different Central, State, Deemed, and Private Universities in India. This entry examination is done by the NTA, and seeks to facilitate easier admission procedures for all students in post-secondary education as a single entry examination for all programs.

The CUET UG 2025 registration will open doors to undergraduate programs at 287 universities in India. This includes 46 Central Universities, 41 State Universities, 30 Deemed Universities, 160 Private Universities, and 10 Government Universities. Some top-notch Central Universities, like Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, Aligarh Muslim University, Jamia Millia Islamia, and Jawaharlal Nehru University, plan to use CUET scores for undergraduate admissions in the 2025-26 academic year. This shared entrance exam makes the admission process simpler giving students one platform to apply to many universities across the country.

CUET UG 2025 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

The CUET UG 2025 syllabus has been set up on the basis of NCERT guidelines. It comprises three parts: Language Proficient, Domain Specific, and a General Test Section. Like every examination, there are rules and regulations that the candidates are expected to familiarize themselves with on the NTA website.

2025 CUET UG Exam Syllabus:

  • Structure: The exam language provides sections as long as it deals with the primary language, deals with the subject, and has sections in general knowledge.
  • Medium: Computer-Based Test (CBT).
  • Questions Format: Multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • Exam Timings: Dependent on the subjects selected by an individual.
  • Scoring and Marking System: Correct responses account for some marks; wrong answers could face a score deduction.

Every single university that participates under the NTA CUET portal provides different undergraduate programs CUET (UG) 2025. Steps to complete registration for CUET (UG) 2025:

  • Step 1: Students can apply for CUET UG Registration only via the online portal. Visit the official CUET website at https://cuet.nta.nic.in/.  
  • Step 2: Register and Fill out the Application Form with personal and academic information.  
  • Step 3: Upload Required Documents which includes photographs, signatures, and other necessary certificates.  
  • Step 4: Confirmation Page should be noted for future reference.  
  • Step 5: Pay the Examination Fee through a Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Guidelines for Candidates to Note – Important

  • Application Restriction: A candidate is eligible to apply only once. Breaching this requirement will result in instant disqualification.
  • Correct Information: The email ID and mobile number provided must belong to the candidate, their parents, or guardians. NTA will communicate only through the registered email and mobile number.
  • Following Compliance Guidelines: Candidates are required to read the Information Bulletin published on the CUET NTA and abide by the instructions provided there.
