Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University of Social Sciences (BRAUSS), located in Indore, is a state university established in 2016 by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Recognized as the first ‘University of Social Sciences’ in India, it is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).The university offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in diverse fields such as Arts & Humanities, Business & Social Sciences, Language & Culture, Medicine & Health, Engineering, and Science & Technology. These programs are managed by five dedicated schools: the School of Dr. Ambedkar’s Thoughts & Philosophy, School of Social Sciences & Management Studies, School of Agriculture and Rural Development, School of Education and Skill Development, and School of Law & Social Justice.

The campus life at this College is excellent and filled with happiness. The infrastructure is vast and beautiful, creating a welcoming environment for students. The faculty members are always available and very supportive. There are dedicated class groups for every subject, where all important notifications are shared. The university also boasts a well-stocked library with a wide range of books on various subjects. The campus is expansive, offering plenty of space, including areas for sports and recreational activities. Many festivals and programs are celebrated throughout the year, adding vibrancy to campus life. Recently, there were events like RJD visits, cleanliness drives, and other social programs. Sports activities are also an integral part of campus life, with regular events and participation. The faculty of the College are outstanding. They are approachable and always willing to help, whether it’s for resolving doubts or providing guidance on any issues. The support isn’t limited to just the BA department, but extends across other departments like BSc, BBA, and more. Additionally, the academic structure includes 5 CCEs (Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation) and 8 papers, including foundational subjects, to ensure a well-rounded education.
