Founded in 1996 by the visionary (Late) Dr. A. Shanmugasundaram, Vinayaka Missions Medical College, Research Foundation, in collaboration with Vinayaka Mission – Deemed University, was accredited by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Ministry of Health, Government of India in 2003.
