Shanmugasundaram, Vinayaka Missions Medical College, Research Foundation, in collaboration with Vinayaka Mission – Deemed University, was accredited by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Ministry of Health, Government of India in 2003. The school offers various MCI-accredited postgraduate and PG degree programs and became a college of Vinayaka Missions University in 2004.
