The college was established in 1966 to provide a world-class medical education, health care, and research facility. LLRM is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). LLRM Medical College started functioning on 30th January 1972 with a capacity of 1040 beds by former Honorable Health Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Prem Chand Sharma Ji.
