Introduction
Established in 1963, Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai (formerly known as NITIE Mumbai) is a Management institute located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is a prominent institute that has been ranked 6th under ‘Management’ category by the NIRF 2024. In addition to this, IIM Mumbai has also been ranked 401-600 under the ‘Impact’ category by the Times Higher Education. Presently, IIM Mumbai (NITIE Mumbai) offers a total of eight degree and certificate courses in the field of Business and Management.
The flagship course of IIM Mumbai is PGDM. Placements: IIM, Mumbai, is one of the best management college of India. Almost 80–90% of the students gets successfully placed in the MBA course at this college. Various top companies visits our college for placements. average package offered at the college was between 8 and 15 LPA. The top recruiters at the college were Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Apple, etc.
Infrastructure: IIM, Mumbai, has best quality infrastructure for all the course. For our course, there was a separate department in which all the facilities were available, including canteen, cafe, Wi-Fi, labs, library, etc. There were all the facilities available in the college for the interactive learnings and development of the students. The hostel’s facilities were of great quality. The food in the hostel mess was best in taste.
Faculty: The faculty of the college were highly qualified and knowledgeable at IIM Mumbai. All the professors in our course are experienced in the teaching field. Teachers were teaching us all the concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. They were giving proper training to us. The course curriculum was relevant and helped students gain jobs. Exams at the college were of a moderately difficult level.
