How to Calculate Marks for XAT Result 2024?

Before the announcement of the actual results, students can calculate an estimate of the scores for XAT 2024 using the XAT Answer Key. Generally, the XAT Answer Key is published one week after the test. Now, here are the steps on how to estimate your tentative score:

Step 1: Open the XAT Answer Key from the official website and note down the number of correct and incorrect answers on your response sheet.

Step 2: Calculate the penalty for the wrong answers by multiplying the total number of wrong answers by 0.25 marks per question.

Step 3: Subtract the penalty for the wrong answers from the total number of correct answers.

Step 4: Count skipped questions. In case you have missed more than 8 consecutive questions, subtract 0.10 marks for every such event.

Step 5: The figure resulting from all this is the expected score at XAT exam level. This is the correct estimation of how you may do and thereby is understood in ranking ahead of when official scores are out.
