What is MET exam ?
MET stands for Manipal Entrance Test which is conducted by Manipal Academy of Higher Studies(MAHE). MET exam is an online computer based exam which is conducted in objective form. It is conducted annually to select the candidates for admissions in different participating campus. The MET scores are accepted at the Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, Manipal University, Jaipur, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim.
Courses offered
The courses offered through Manipal entrance test (MET) are the various courses of bachelors of technology (B.Tech) and lateral B.Tech.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must follow the following eligibility criteria to be eligible for MHT CET :
B. Tech Courses
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 grade or equivalent exam with subjects such as Physics , Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects with chemistry or biology or any technical vocational subject as optional subject with a minimum of 50% marks together in physics, mathematics and any one optional subject.
Lateral B. Tech
- 3 years Diploma in Engineering granted by the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government or passed BSc Degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.

- The application fee for MET exam is 2000Rs. which includes 600 Rs. as application fee and 1400 Rs. as entrance fee.
- The application fee for NRI/NRI sponsored category candidates is 2,500Rs.
