There are 3 government medical colleges in Manipur with 375 seats for MBBS courses and 1 private medical college with 150 seats for MBBS courses. Only candidates residing in Manipur can be admitted to the government medical colleges. Both government and private medical colleges are under the Manipur University. 

Eligibility criteria:

• The candidate must fulfill the local or non-local status in Manipur (residential requirement) as per the rules laid down by the Manipur Government. 
• The candidate must have passed their 10+2 examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects.
• The candidates must have passed NEET UG-2024.
• The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as of December 31, 2024.
