NTA NEET UG 2026 Registration Form Released 2026

The registration form for NEET UG 2026 has officially been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on 8 February 2026. It is the sole, single-window national exam in India for students aspiring to a medical career. It’s a mandatory test for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and other allied medical courses in government and private medical colleges. 

All concerned candidates are advised to go through the official notification carefully and complete the registration process within the given time period. 

What is NEET UG 2026?

NEET UG is a national-level medical entrance exam for undergraduate courses such as MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH across all government and private institutions. It’s conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the National Medical Commission (NMC). The examination is offline and pen-paper based. 

What is the Eligibility Criteria?

For a candidate to be eligible for NEET UG 2026, they must : 

  • Have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English. 
  • Have scored above 50% in 12th for general, 45% for PwD, and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates. 
  • Be 17 years or older as of 31st December.

How to Register for NEET UG?

The registration process comprises the following steps : 

  • Register online using a valid email ID and phone number
  • Fill out the required personal, academic, and contact details
  • Upload all required documents as mentioned. (Photograph, signature, class 10th marksheet)
  • Select the city for the examination center as per your preference
  • Pay the application fee
  • Recheck all the details before finally submitting them and downloading the confirmation page. 

What is after registration?

After registering successfully : 

  • NTA will release the NEET UG admit card for 2026.
  • The details regarding the exam will be announced through official notifications. 
  • The examination will be conducted in multiple shifts as per the schedule. 
  • Results will be declared after a few months of completion.
  • The AIQ and state-level counseling will commence. 
  • Seat allotment will be done based on rank, category, preferences, and availability of seats. 

Things to Note

  • Recheck and make sure all the details filled in are accurate and verifiable. 
  • Upload the documents as per the requirements and specifications 
  • Submit the form as early as possible from the last date
