NEET UG 2025 Embassy Certificate of Foreign Candidate
The Embassy Certificate is a document produced by the Indian Diplomatic Mission in favor of NRI candidates, who apply under the NRI quota. The certificate verifies that the candidate has remained outside the country for more than 182 days in the previous financial year and has NRI status. The certificate should be submitted in the process of admission and holds validity for only six months. It comprises necessary information like the candidate’s passport details, address, and reason for issuance. Foreign and OCI candidates also need to submit documentary evidence of citizenship, which can be a scanned copy of the passport, certificate of citizenship, or any other government document showing nationality. This verifies the candidate’s eligibility under the NRI quota.
