Admission Process
Eligibility Criteria:
Age: Must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the admission year
Educational Qualification:
Completed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
Minimum aggregate marks in PCB:
Entrance Examination:
NEET-UG: Appear for and qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Application Process:
Registration: After NEET-UG results are declared, register for the centralized counseling process conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
Choice Filling: Select KGMU as your preferred institution during the choice-filling phase.
Counseling and Seat Allotment:
Seats are allotted based on NEET-UG rank, category, seat availability, and choices filled.
KGMU offers 250 MBBS seats through NEET UP counseling.
Document Verification and Admission:
Once allotted a seat, report to KGMU for document verification.
Submit necessary documents, including NEET-UG scorecard, admit card, 10th and 12th mark sheets, and other relevant certificates.
Pay the required admission fees to confirm your seat.
MD/MS Admission Procedure: Admission to all MD, MS Medical PG Courses will be on the basis of performance in the NEET PG by NBE, and Seat Allotment Done Through Centralized Counselling Admission Process conducted by UPNEET DGME.
