Cutoff
Being a government college in an advantageous location means a higher cutoff. There is usually a cutoff for each subject in MS and MBBS is another requirement along with NEET PG ranks. Subjects like General Surgery, Orthopedics, and OBG are highly competitive and require higher ranks in NEET PG, especially for the All India Quota. There could be a little bit more flexibility in ENT and Ophthalmology cutoffs, but they are still competitive.
Fees Structure
One of the prime factors making medical colleges in Rajasthan extremely sought-after is the very low and affordable fee structure. Their fee components generally include:
- Tuition fee for a year
- Hostel and mess charges
- Caution deposit
- Library and Examination fees
The full yearly fee is a lot less than that of private colleges, which makes government colleges a cheaper yet better-quality option for a surgical postgraduate.
