Established in 1864 during the British India era as Glancy Medical College in Lahore, Government Medical College, Amritsar , Punjab (GMC, Amritsar) was later relocated to Amritsar, India, in 1920. The Institute was established in 1943 and is one of the oldest colleges in Punjab. The college is one of the leading Medical Colleges in Punjab. Admissions Process

  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Educational Qualification:
      • Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
      • A minimum aggregate score of 50% is required for General category candidates, 40% for SC/ST, and 45% for OBC candidates.
