Facilities

  1. Computer Centre: It administers and manages the entire Campus Computer Network which includes Departments (Engg. & Management), Main Administrative Building, Library and Hostel. Computer Centre provides Web-based Email that enables all the users to access their mailbox from anywhere (inside or outside MAIT) via the Internet and institute wide directory service (DS) and centralized cloud storage to every faculty and staff for personal use. Computer Centre manages DNS, Website and FTP Server, licensed softwares and Wi-Fi connectivity for the academic, administrative and hostel blocks of the campus, with internet facilities on all the nodes.
  2. Intel Centre of Excellence: Intel Centre of Excellence (AI) is setup in MAIT Campus under Intel Unnati Program to provide ultra-modern facilities for students, which includes state-of-art machines, software, hardware, etc, providing the computational power, storage capacity, and connectivity required for conducting research, developing AI models, and running experiments effectively.
  3. Auditorium: The Institute comprises of its own auditorium which are two in number. The main auditorium with a capacity of 750 people is one of its kinds which provide an excellent platform for various cultural activities, symposiums, conferences and seminars. The auditorium is well carpeted with high acoustic system and comfortable seating. Along with the main auditorium, the campus also has a mini auditorium with a capacity of 120 people which is utilized for various activities as well.
  4. Library: The Institute is well equipped with four floors of library with an approximate seating of 350 students. The library forms an excellent blend of books covering the course curriculum, magazines, journals and beyond the curriculum reading material along with the availability of the Digital Library. The library area is equipped with the Wi-Fi facility on all four floors to cater for the access of online study material for the benefit of students.
  5. Canteen: Food is a soul for a student life and keeping this in mind, the campus is equipped with not just one, but multiple food eat-out options which are four in number. The main cafeteria has a capacity of 100 people approximately which serves various cuisines and mini- lunch packs. The Institute ensures the quality of food being offered keeping in mind the health parameters of all those who consume these food products.
  6. Gym: Apart from academics which form the essentials for the degree credentials, MAIT also understands the worth and requirements of keeping the body fit and active. To incur to these requirements, a gymnasium with fitness equipment is available for the access to students, faculty members and staff. The gym is equipped with the latest gym facilities along with a gym instructor to get things right.
  7. Hostel: The Institute maintains Boy’s Hostel having four Blocks on campus. Hostel has over 40 single seater, 65 double seater and 7 four seater rooms. Each room is equipped with basic furniture like cot, pillow, chair, table, and cupboard, tube light and fan. Each of the hostels provides mess facilities for the residents; mess is managed under the overall supervision of hostel wardens. The common room, gymnasium and sports facilities are also available for residents. There is a provision for round the clock water and electricity facilities for the hostels. It is concerted effort of the Institute to provide a wholesome hostel facility for the residents and help them pursue their respective academic and professional goals to their best. It is a consistent endeavour of the hostel administration to follow the well-established ethos of hostel life and promote a healthy community atmosphere in the hostel. Ragging, physical violence, negative discrimination, consumption of alcoholic or narcotics substances, non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited in the hostel.
  8. Medical Facilities: To ensure total well – being of students, the college provides First Aid Medical Facilities with a full time Doctor available within the campus during day time.
  9. Bank: A branch of Union Bank of India is situated inside the Institute campus. The bank has its ATM installed and the student and staff can avail the facilities as and when required.
  10. Sports: It is required that a student should undergo a holistic development to bring out the best in him/her so as to serve the society in an efficient manner. Sports helps to stay fit and is an apt way to relax the mind. To encourage students, various events are organized annually, both indoor and outdoor, which include sports meet and volleyball completion. The campus is proud to have its very own basketball, tennis and volley ball court along with indoor games like table tennis etc.
