This institute is a renowned Ayurveda College and the oldest Ayurveda institute in India, with a long history of Ayurveda education. This institute was founded in 1916 as a “Rajkiya Ayurveda Vidyalaya” (state Ayurveda school). In the early years, plans were made to start two-year diploma courses in Ayurveda Upadhyaya, Ayurveda Shastri, and Ayurvedacharya.
