Government Medical College Morbi (GMC Morbi) is a city located in the Morbi district within the state of Gujarat, India. Positioned on the Kathiawar peninsula, the city is situated along the banks of the Machhu River. To meet the country’s need for more doctors and to improve the quality of healthcare in the Saurashtra region, the Government of Gujarat has established a new medical college at Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society, Gandhinagar. GMC Morbi received the approval letter from the National Medical Council, New Delhi on August 18, 2022. The facility provides various services to the public including emergency care, outpatient services, inpatient services, and authorized laboratories and radiology facilities.
