Q1 What are the eligibility criteria to take admission to the MBBS course in Meghalaya?
Ans. The candidates should meet the following eligibility criteria:-
- Candidates applying for admission to the MBBS course must be permanent residents/domiciles of the state.
- The aspirant must have studied and completed their course in the preceding two years from the schools located in India.
- At the time of admission, the aspirant must have completed 17 – 25 years of age or will complete on or before December 31, 2024.
- Candidates must have appeared for the NEET-UG 2024 and qualified for admission to MBBS.
- Candidates must have passed the qualifying examinations required to be eligible.

Q4 What is the bond that candidates have to sign at the time of admission?
Ans. All the selected candidates have to sign a bond on a requisite stamp paper at the time of admission. The bond states that if any candidate leaves the course before its completion shall have to pay the bond money of Rupees Ten Lakhs only.
