Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) exam is the Admission Test for admission to MBA/PGDM programs in XLRI and other top MBA colleges like XIMB, IMT Ghaziabad, IMI New Delhi, LBSIM Delhi, TAPMI Manipal and 150 other top MBA colleges in India. XLRI will offer admission to its PGDM programs, offered at the Jamshedpur and Delhi campuses on the basis of this exam score only, and will not accept any other test score. There are more than 70 cities and more than 100 venues where the exam will be conducted in India.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates applying for the entrance exam are required to go through the detailed eligibility criteria of XAT exam . The eligibility criteria for domestic and NRI candidates are different as given below.

• Candidates must be holding a three-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university
• Candidates in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for the XAT entrance exam 2024 provided they can furnish their bachelor\’s degree certificate and mark sheet by the end of the admission year.
• It must be noted that the XAT exam eligibility and that of the XLRI are the same. On the pattern of XAT eligibility criteria 2024, XLRI also does not impose minimum mark restrictions in applying for the PGDM course.
• However, depending on the course pursued, the eligibility criteria for XLRI may vary but the basic eligibility criteria remain the same.
• According to XAT eligibility criteria, the domestic candidates seeking admission to MBA/PGDM 2024-26 must appear in XAT.
• However, the NRI and foreign candidates can apply through their valid GMAT scores. They do not need to appear for the entrance exam.

Minimum marks required for further rounds

XAT cut-offs 2024 for XLRI\’s PGDM Business Management (BM) and Human Resource Management (HRM) programs will be declared in February 2024. Those who shall meet the XAT 2024 cut-offs, will be selected for admission rounds on the basis of the same. The selection round will include a Personal Interview (PI) round which will be held in the month of March. The XAT cut-offs usually range between 95-97 percentile. For female candidates, the cut-offs for XAT are lower by 1-2 percentiles.
