The correction window for NEET-UG is now live.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate courses in 2024 will now be conducted in several foreign cities in addition to those in India. The decision follows the earlier public notice requesting online applications, issued on February 9, 2024.
Foreign cities where the exam will be held include Kuwait City in Kuwait, Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, Bangkok in Thailand, Colombo in Sri Lanka, Doha in Qatar, Kathmandu in Nepal, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Lagos in Nigeria, Manama in Bahrain, Muscat in Oman, Riyadh and Sharjah in Saudi Arabia, and Singapore.
For candidates who have already chosen centers in India but wish to appear in foreign cities, there will be a correction window opening after the registration closes. During this period, candidates can modify their center and country preferences.
However, those opting for foreign centers will need to pay the differential fee. Candidates from foreign countries registering for the first time can directly select their preferred country and city from the drop-down menu during the application process. They must pay the required fee and submit their application accordingly.
For any further inquiries or assistance related to NEET (UG) – 2024, candidates can contact 011-40759000 or email neet@nta.ac.in.
This expansion of NEET centers to foreign cities aims to provide more opportunities for candidates outside India to take the exam conveniently. It also facilitates easier access for Indian students residing abroad who wish to pursue medical education in India.
