Established by the Uttarakhand State Legislature through the Quantum University Act of 2016, Quantum University is located in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, and is recognized by both the UGC and BCI, with additional approval from PCI. The university offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across fields such as Engineering, Computer Applications, Management, Media Studies & Design, Commerce & Finance, Science, Humanities & Social Science, Agricultural Studies, Health Sciences, Hospitality & Tourism, and Law. With eight dedicated schools, Quantum University provides specialized higher education in various disciplines. Admission to Quantum University is based on entrance exams and merit. For undergraduate and Ph.D. courses, the university administers the Quantum Entrance cum Scholarship Test (Q-Care) and Quantum University Research Aptitude Test (QRAT), respectively. The campus features modern, thoughtfully designed infrastructure, including advanced internet and computer facilities, workshops, libraries, laboratories, seminar halls, and more. Quantum University also connects students with career opportunities at companies such as Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, Quick Heal, and Tech Mahindra.

Review

Campus life at Quantum University is vibrant, with plenty of clubs and events to get involved in. Our annual fest, Dharohar, is a highlight—an incredible celebration that adds to the energy on campus. The university’s management deserves credit for maintaining discipline and creating an organized environment, which I appreciate. One of my favorite aspects of Quantum University is its location. It’s situated in such a beautiful setting, which really adds to the experience here. Quantum provides all the facilities a student could ask for, from sports and games to numerous events. The faculty are generally supportive and helpful, though there’s some room for improvement in coordination.

The campus atmosphere feels welcoming and comfortable, and I’ve really enjoyed my time here. The seniors are great too—always supportive, and there’s a strong policy against ragging, which ensures a safe environment. Quantum also goes beyond the basics, offering 24-hour access to ATMs and medical facilities for both students and staff, which makes us feel secure and cared for. The labs are well-organized and equipped with everything we need. Overall, Quantum University is one of the best engineering colleges, with friendly and cooperative faculty who genuinely support us in our learning journey.
