Placements: IIM Visakhapatnam provides multiple opportunities and roles across different sectors. Start-ups and big MNCs come for placement opportunities. As per the function, companies do come for all different roles, such as marketing, finance, analytics, etc. The highest package last year was 42 LPA and the average package was 14–16 LPA. Almost 85% of students get placement opportunities here.

Infrastructure: A hostel is mandatory for every student. The best hostel facility is available on campus. Single-sharing room with AC, beds, and almirah. Study lamps and everything else that will be necessary for the next two years. All hostels have mesmerizing scenic views from their windows. Fridges, washing machines, induction, and clothing drying areas are available on every floor. Food is good in comparison to other foods. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner are being provided, as well as special food on special occasions.

Faculty: The course is designed keeping in mind the overall development of the students. Apart from written exams, it has group projects and presentations, simulations, and class participation weights. Also, a 2-month summer internship is mandatory at the end of the first year. The faculty here is very knowledgeable and approachable. Some faculty members hold the degree of IIMs, and they have great knowledge of marketing and finance.
