Review
I chose this course because I aspire to become a software engineer and secure a good salary package. My internship experience was great; I had the chance to work with MediaTek, a prominent company in the telecom sector, and earned a stipend of Rs 8750. I secured this internship on my own initiative, as my college didn’t play a role in helping me get it. The placement opportunities for the Computer Engineering (CE) and Information Technology (IT) branches are excellent, while the Mechanical Engineering (ME) branch has average placement prospects. The college organizes an annual job fair, where several companies visit to offer placement opportunities to students. When it comes to extracurricular activities, the college excels in every area, including sports, labs, fashion shows, robotics, and department-specific workshops. These activities cater to student interests, and I’ve personally organized many sports events and workshops for my department. It’s been a fulfilling experience. As for the hostel, my friends found it comfortable, though there were some issues with the crowd. There were instances of noise at night, and some individuals caused disturbances, even breaking into the hostel and starting a fight. Overall, the college facilities are highly supportive, and the staff is always willing to help without any ego, making the learning experience much more pleasant.
