The National Testing Agency (NTA) declares NEET UG results and then the merit list. The Candidates are classified on the basis of scores as follows:

2. Registration for Counseling

Eligibility Criteria for admission following NEET UG

Here is a brief of eligibility criteria for students to get admission after NEET UG in colleges:

Basic Eligibility:
  1. Students must Qualified NEET UG (should fulfill category-wise cutoff)
  2. A minimum of 17 years of the students (as of Dec 31 of year of admission)
  3. Education should be 10+2 with PCB & English (50% for Gen/EWS, 40% for SC/ST/OBC)

  2. Seek admission in Private/Deemed Universities – Some universities have separate counselling for admissions.
  3. Look for Foreign Medical Universities – The Countries like Russia, Ukraine & the Philippines accept NEET scores.
  4. Prepare for NEET UG Again – Student should Improve their rank for the next attempt.
